Enrollment Process
We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child! These steps will walk you through the process.
1. Apply Online
Prospective families are welcome to
apply online at any time during the school year. Please be sure to complete the application in its entirety. There is a one-time, non-refundable application fee of $75.00 for new families. Once you submit the application and fee, your child will be placed on our waitlist. You will receive a confirmation to ensure your child’s name is on the list and their position. New families are contacted based on the number of spaces available after the re-enrollment period for current students.
2. Notice of Availability
We will email a Notice of Availability to inform you we have space available for your child.
3. Schedule a Tour
Initial visits are scheduled for weekday mornings. This gives prospective families a chance to see the uninterrupted morning work cycle: a hallmark of Montessori education. Your visit will start with a tour of the school, followed by a chance to sit and observe a class at work. Before you leave, you will have an opportunity to meet with our administrative staff to ask any question you may have. Please note that these initial visits are for adults only.
4. Child Visit and Family Interview
The child visit and family interview are conducted simultaneously. During the visit, the child will have a chance to meet the guide, orient themselves to the environment, and observe the morning work cycle. The interview is an informal dialogue between the Directress and the family to share values and goals within the Montessori pedagogy. The final decision to continue or terminate the enrollment process is made by the Directress and teaching staff.
5. Acceptance Letter
Welcome to Grow Montessori School! You will receive an official acceptance letter along with enrollment forms to complete and return before the child's start date.
6. Secure Your Child's Slot
All families are responsible for submitting a
non-refundable deposit of $500 to secure their child's slot each year. The deposit is comprised of a $300 registration fee and a $200 activity fee.
