Nido
(3 - 18 months)
A Cozy Home Away from Home
An Environment Optimized for Your Child
Your infant will be introduced to a safe and inviting environment. The Nido classroom is prepared with the infant in mind, less is more. Its simplicity calls the infant to explore freely, a “yes” space, without encountering obstacles. Every area of the environment gives the infant a clear visual of its purpose. The classroom is equipped with low, sturdy furniture made from natural materials, adorned with warm tones. The area for movement promotes fine and gross motor activity. Artwork is placed at the infant's eye level depicting genuine human experiences from around the world. A quiet space prepared with books, a mirror, and a soft area rug welcomes the infant to rest their body after a busy work cycle.

Well-Trained Professionals
Our Nido classroom is led by teachers with experience in early learning and deep knowledge of early childhood development. The Montessori curriculum aligns with Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) incorporating fine and gross motor movement, language, independent living, and art.

Trust Through A Consistent Schedule
Your infant has a natural rhythm which aids their sense of order and familiarization with their environments. A consistent schedule and timeliness are important to building trust with their teachers as the infant begins to predict and prepare for what comes next in their day.
